The deflection limit of the toe is calculated by the given formula (shown below) as referenced in the NCI-P-157 Cl.5 on page 2.
dlim = (1 + dm / c)
The deflection limit is not to be confused with the torsional deflection. The torsional deflection is a user defined limit however it cannot exceed the deflection limit which is hard coded into the calculation.
