Solution
To insert an overbar character use one of the following methods:
- Enter a ` (Grave accent) character in symbol font (this character is the key to the left of the '1' key on a typical keyboard. On a UK keyboard it has three different characters shown on the key, including the Grave Accent, on a US keyboard it only has 2 characters shown)
- Select symbol font and then use the keyboard sequence Alt+9+6, note you must use the number keys key on the num pad.
- Enter the expression text format code \60 and use the Tedds Format expression text command to convert the expression text to formatted text
Note: When an overbar character is inserted the actual glyph is drawn over the next character therefore you will always get what appears to be a blank character space before the character that has the overbar.
