Installing the Tekla Structural License Server Manager on a PC that will also be running Tedds or Structural Designer

If you are using a PC to run Tedds or Tekla Structural Designer and also act as your License Server you will need to install both the main product and the License Server Manager software. Select the Server License Method: Set the Tekla Licensing Server as localhost Check that the License Service will be installed Launch the License Server Manager and Activate your licenses

'VBL File Error' message relating to Temp .vbl files

Information If you are getting a 'VBL File Error' message in both Tedds and Tedds for Word, as shown below, that just displays a path to a temporary .vbl file in their Temp folder then it sounds like your antivirus is interfering with Tedds.  This can happen whenever existing or new calculations are run. In addition to this, when adding new calculations into documents in Tedds for Word you may also see a 'Server Busy' dialog appear.
