RC beam analysis and design (EN1992)

This video demonstrates the RC beam analysis and design calculation to the Eurocode. The calculations check the design of rectangular, flanged T and flanged L sections subject to major axis bending and shear. The calculation allows for the analysis and design of a single beam. Each span in the beam is checked according to the specified zones which can be amended in the design process.

Steel sheet piling design (USA)

This video demonstrates using Tekla Tedds for steel sheet piling design (USA). The calculation checks the stability of either a cantilever or a propped/tied steel sheet pile wall by determining the required minimum embedment length and calculates the minimum required plastic section modulus per metre run of wall. Where appropriate the calculation will determine the tie/prop force.

This video demonstrates using Tekla Tedds for Reinforced concrete stair design to the Eurocode. The calculation checks the design of a reinforced straight flight of stairs. The stairs span longitudinally between supports at the top and the bottom of the flight and are unsupported at the sides. Supporting beams are located at the outside edges of the landings. The calculation is in accordance with EN1992 and the National Annex for the UK, Ireland, Singapore, Malaysia, Finland, Norway, Sweden or the recommended Eurocode values.
