Steel member fire resistance design (EN1993)

This video demonstrates the Tekla Tedds steel member fire resistance design calculation to the Eurocode. The calculation checks the capacity of a single steel member subject to bending to maintain its required mechanical resistance in case of fire during the required time of exposure. The member may be unprotected (bare steel) or protected. The steel member being designed may support a composite or concrete slab, i.e. the member is only exposed on three sides if required.
