Steel beam supporting hollowcore slab design (EN1993)

This video demonstrates the Tekla Tedds Steel beam supporting hollowcore slab design calculation to the Eurocode. The calculation checks the design of single span, simply supported, rolled I or H, ASB or Slimflor beam at various stages of construction. The precast slabs can be placed on either the top of the bottom flange or the top of the top flange. If a Slimflor beam is specified the slabs are assumed to be placed on the bottom plate. Up to two user defined additional loads and up to ten total load cases can be added to the calculation to account for various project specific loadings as required.
